My Day Off

After my Grandma died, my sister Rizzo reached out to me and recommended that I find a day to take a full 24 hours away from the hospital to get an emotional and mental reboot. Today is that day and I am feeling quite a bit better, especially after the rough morning I had yesterday. And the nice staff at the Ped's unit said they would make sure Elizabeth had people spending time with her so she wouldn't be so alone. So what have I done so far? Well...

I hit up Hobby Lobby which is of course one of my favorite stores, but then I got stuff for Lizzy. Honestly though, it really makes me happy, especially now that I'll be a little more prepared for Christmas, AND they were both 40% off! I also popped into Dollar Tree for some cheap Halloween decor I want to put up in Lizzy's room and mine. The way she was fascinated with the windows yesterday, I just had to find something for her to look at. Window clings and a solar dancing character. Yay! For now I'm relaxing and doing laundry. Later on, Kim's niece, Arlene, is treating me to get my hair did and dinner. She's so sweet!!! 

Tomorrow it's back to see my sweet baby, hopefully with a much clearer head. And hopefully she'll be better adjusted to her surroundings. Plus, DADDY IS COMING!!! Yay! :D
