New and Improved

This morning I came down the stairs to quite a party. They had a meeting to discuss what to do for their next charity event and had lots of people there. They let me take some food with me and I even had a Ronald sighting.

On my way out the door the lady make sure I got one of these cool McDonald's glasses. It's actually glass and it's really neat.

When I got to the hospital they were feeding Lizzie by gavage. She threw it up later when the doctors came by for the rounds and riled her up. But then she got really active and was looking around. It's amazing the difference I see already in her behavior just by moving over here.

Physical and occupational therapy came by and we had a great discussion as they observed her and her behaviors. I learned that when she opens her eyes really wide, that's her cue to tell us she is stressed. I love that I am learning these things that I didn't know before because the NICU was just too frantic.
