-Private rooms with fold out bed, bathroom, and shower.
-Cool common areas to escape to including one with a huge, fake tree that the preschool back home would die to have.
-More patio options including a fun playground one with squishy walkways.
-A play room with toys I can take back to her room for her to use.
-We can take her from her room around the whole unit for half an hour at a time and there's a hallway with interactive walls.
-Doctors and staff do rounds every morning and with the social worker once a week to keep everyone on the same page.
-There's a PICU there in case something happens.
-They have a separate room for procedures where she will get blood draws and such so she doesn't associate her personal room with painful things.
-Windows!!!!
-And just a calmer vibe all around.
I think I'd be stupid not to move her. I will definitely miss some of the staff here, but I think they would agree this is a good thing for her.
