Nothing really new to report today. We're staying the course with her feeds and all of that. The surgeon seemed intrigued that she still hasn't pooped again but is steadily growing, but she just once again said how good she looks and it will take time. Any questions? Nope? Alright. So since I don't have much in the way of news today I thought I might talk up our home away from home. You know I call it the clown house, but this is a very nice place. I never had any idea what they do for people. They have a community play room, living room, kitchen, and playground downstairs.
Upstairs they have one wing sectioned off for kids that need a little more peace and quiet, and the regular wing for other different cases, like ours. Each room is like a hotel room, two beds, armoir, bathroom. And a community laundry room with four washers and four dryers. Not to mention the bed mattresses are tempur-pedics. You can tell a lot of love and charity went into this place. They have decorated tiles all over with names of people and businesses that donated in some way (I'm guessing a big way). You pay a 20 dollar deposit up front and then it's 15 a night though they will check into seeing if your insurance will cover it, and well let's just say they wont turn anyone away that can't pay.
So if ever you're at a McDonalds and see the change box or a pop tabs collection box, I recommend donating. I know we will be doing that more. To the clown that creeps me out the least...
